Alcohol and Alcohol Making Kits


Alcoholic beverages/Foods and Alcoholic Kits.

To sell alcoholic beverages and alcoholic food you must request approval for listing and selling alcoholic beverages, alcoholic food, and alcoholic making kits. 

The seller is solely responsible for compliance with all international laws associated with the sale of alcoholic beverages, alcoholic food, and alcoholic-making kits.

Buyer and seller must follow our terms and conditions and all laws and regulations related to alcoholic beverages, alcoholic food, and alcoholic-making kits at all times.

Since each country has its own regulations governing the shipment of alcoholic beverages, alcoholic food, and alcoholic-making kits, the seller must clearly note which countries it is able to post to in the item description.


Remember, you may have VAT obligations in the country/state your business operates in, and in countries/states you post/ship to.

Any content that violates any of our policies may be deleted, or edited by us at our discretion at any time or your selling privileges removed, either temporarily or permanently.

IN NO EVENT WILL BNSBIDS OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PERSON FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR ANY LOST PROFIT FROM YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE.


Item Conditions:

When listing or selling alcoholic beverages, alcoholic foods or alcoholic making kits and accessories you must list and sell them under strict item conditions:

  • All Alcoholic-beverages and alcoholic food you sell must be new and (original) sealed Only.
  • Alcoholic-making kits and accessories under the condition of new, used, or for parts.
If the alcoholic-making kit or accessories is used then all related item must be cleaned before the alcoholic-making kit or accessories are sent out for delivery.


Seller Requirements:

Sellers of alcoholic products must have the right and authority to sell alcoholic products.
Sellers must have all necessary licenses needed to lawfully carry out transactions and post/ship all related alcoholic products to the buyer.
You must have a return delivery address, paid, or offer free delivery returns and returns policy.


Each product must have one of the following:

  • A valid GTIN registered and associated with the product.
  • GTIN exemption.
  •  Enrolment in the Brand Registry program.
You must be able to provide local language to support customers if needed.

All alcoholic-related products must be well packed.

All alcoholic-related products for sale must be well in date.

You must not sell alcoholic beverages, alcoholic foods, or alcoholic-making kits to buyers under the minimum drinking age governed under the applicable laws for each country/state you post/ship in or to.

Alcohol by Volume values is displayed within the item/product details description.

Sellers posting alcohol products must require the recipient to be in possession of photo identification confirming she/he is 18 years of age or older. if the recipient at the delivery address is not available, the recipient must also show proof of age.

All alcoholic-related sellers must have sufficient procedures in place to verify that the buyer is aged 18 years or over. (Example: Photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport) NOTE: IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CAN NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT PROCEDURES IN PLACE TO VERIFY THE AGE OF THE CUSTOMER, PLEASE DO NOT LIST ANY ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS.

You must provide acceptable documentation and any other information we request about the products you intend to sell, including information to demonstrate payment of excise duties in the local country.

Make sure you follow any other labeling requirements in the country/state you post/ship in or to.



The following is Restricted:

  • Alcoholic drinks.
  • Non-Alcoholic drinks.
  • Alcoholic making kits
  • Chocolates containing no more than 0.2 litres of alcohol (of a strength not exceeding 57% ABV) per kilogram.
  • Chocolates containing more than 57% ABV must have sufficient procedures in place to verify that the customer is aged 18 years or over.



The following is Prohibited:

 (Not to be listed on BNSBids at all at any time)

  • Opened alcoholic products 
  • Alcohol licenses
  • High-strength alcohol (70% ABV+)
  • No homebrew(ready-made) alcohol drinks
  • Listings that do not comply with the UK Code of Non-Broadcast Advertising. (or other Code of Non-Broadcast Advertising in)

Empty alcohol bottles or containers, images must show in the listing that the container/item is empty and contains has no liquids/alcohol.


Sellers who list prohibited items or content can have their selling privileges removed, either temporarily or permanently.
