Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia & Dietary Supplements


All types of Narcotics, steroids and all other controlled substances are not allowed to be sold on BNSBids

Any drug paraphernalia cannot be listed for sale, this includes all products specifically designed or primarily intended for the purpose of using, manufacturing, or concealing any controlled substances.
We also have a few rules about how sellers are to describe legal substances such as herbs and plants.
Sellers must not describe products in a way that suggests using legal substances (such as by inhaling, ingesting, or extracting compounds from them) that will produce similar effects to using illegal drugs.
You are not in any way allowed to use any wording that suggests that a product will provide a such legal high.

Sellers must not claim (product claims) any health benefits from legal substances for which the “medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency” has not approved.

(Note that if the information is not mentioned within any of our prohibited and restricted policies then please check with your local laws in regards to the product you wish to sell)


You are allowed to list the following:

Tobacco pipes made from briar, clay, corncob, catlinite (pipestone), or meerschaum.
Milk glass pipes.
Kitchen herb grinders.
Regular cigarette papers (any size and any brand.
It is acceptable to call any herbal product by its common name without it being its true scientific name e.g. (milk thistle for Silybum marianum).


The following is Restricted:

Poppy seeds are allowed to be listed as long the listing does not mention any illegal intent or usage.
live plants are allowed (but none drug-related), listing descriptions cannot state that the item shouldn't be used illegally or be used with an illicit drug.
Human: Over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
Human: Vitamins and Supplements.
Animal: Veterinary Vitamins and Supplements.

For Human medicines and food supplements: All listings must be correctly listed in the Health and Beauty Care Category, See below:
  • Health & Beauty > Vitamins & Supplements.
  • Health & Beauty > Health & Hygiene Care > Over-The-Counter Medicines.
For Pet medicines and food supplements: All listings must be correctly listed in the Pet Supplies Category, See Below: 
  • Pet Supplies > Cat Supplies > Health Care > Vitamins & Supplements.
  • Pet Supplies > Dog Supplies > Health Care > Vitamins & Supplements.

  • Any medicines or food supplements or other products which require a prescription, application or to be monitored by a Doctor, Veterinary, or Optician is prohibited.
  • All listings of medicines and food supplements must comply with all local and international legal requirements including labelling and Ingredients.
  • Seller outside of the United Kingdom must follow their local laws and legal requirements including labelling and Ingredients.



The following is Prohibited:

  • You are not in any way allowed to suggest or claim (product claims) that a product can cure an ailment or disease when the MHRA hasn't approved such claims.
  • Vaporizers intended to be used with alcohol, marijuana, or illegal substances.
  • Smoking apparatus such as pipes, tobacco pipes, and bongs including accessories if intended to be used with illegal drugs.
  • Cancer drug treatment of any type.
  • Unlicensed products that claim to be hangover cures.
  • Growth hormones.
  • Human chorionic gonadotrophin.
  • Niacin supplements (vitamin B3, nicotinic acid) exceeding the maximum daily dosage of 50 mg.
  • Nicotinamide supplements (nicotinic amide, vitamin PP) exceeding the maximum daily dosage of 500mg.
  • Vitamin D supplements exceeding the maximum daily dosage of 100 mcg.
  • Products containing aloxiprin, aspirin, paracetamol or ibuprofen.
  • Products that have passed their expiration or "use by" dates.
  • Used products.
  • Opened products, even if its not been used its still prohibited.
  • Products that are not sealed in their original manufacturer's packaging.
  • Products labeled as "tester," "not for retail sale" or "not intended for resale".
  • Products that have been the subject of recalls or safety alerts.
  • Products that have been the subject of criminal enforcement, injunctions, seizures or warning letters.
  • Products and ingredients that governmental agencies have determined present an unreasonable risk of injury or illness or are otherwise unsafe.
  • Substances or drugs considered as legal highs.
  • Substances identified as drugs or chemicals of concern by any local or international authority or official agency.
  • Weight loss products tainted with sibutramine, ephedra, phenolphthalein or any other undeclared substance or prohibited ingredient.
  • Bodybuilding supplements tainted with DMAA, steroids, dinitrophenol, prostanozol or methasterone or any other undeclared substance or prohibited ingredient.
  • Sexual enhancement or performance supplements tainted with kamagra, lovastatin, phentolamin, sulfoaildenafil, sildenafil, tadalafil, viagra, vimax, viapro. or any other undeclared substance or prohibited ingredient.
