Adding My Tax Number
Before you can apply and charge your buyers tax you must be tax registered and include this tax number in each listing.
You need to determine whether you should charge taxes to your local or international buyers. If you're not sure, we recommend contacting your local tax authorities or a tax professional. They should be able to help.
Alternatively, you can contact taxbackinternational, it's a third-party global Vat service provider, that we are committed to working closely to help all our sellers fulfil their legally requirements in relation to VAT.
If you determine that you need to charge tax on your items, then register with your local tax authority.
After you've registered with your tax authorities and received your tax number, you can apply our default taxes to your listings.
You must first Apply your tax type options by selecting your local or international countries/states in your Global Settings page and then set up your
Postage options.
You need to update your account to a business account.
Adding your Tax Number:
- You must include your local tax number in your "Sales Invoices Custom Content" Field.
